Banned Books Week
WOW - Yes, thats what our local library is celebrating - Banned books week 2006
The message on the library's site reads:
"Come into the library the week of September 23-30 to see our display of banned books! "

an eye-catching notice, but not much fun because you won't lay your hands on something that's banned today or on 'underground' literature. Don't think they ban books in the US these days, do they?
If such a program came up in middle east (or for that matter in India), it would be really interesting..
